  • “No One Else” blends old-school house vibes with elements of deep house, bass house, and electro house, creating a track that’s both groovy and energetic. The song has that familiar house rhythm, perfect for the dancefloor, but also includes the punchy, modern sounds of dance pop and progressive house to bring it into the present, making it both timeless and fresh.

The energetic beat and lively melodies create an uplifting vibe, making this track perfect for any party or moment where you want to keep the energy high. It’s all about the groove—the feeling of being lost in the rhythm, embracing the music, and dancing without a care in the world.

2Tooth Notes: Reflections on "No One Else"

However, this track represents more than just a musical creation. It was made during a time when everything I had built so far had collapsed. My savings, my plans—everything had gone to zero. I had to face life from scratch again, find a job, and keep going. This was also right in the middle of the COVID era, which hit just after I had to get a job and was balancing everything—producing music, learning how to mix and master, and being a parent. It was a crazy time.

By the time I finished this track, I had spent years trying to figure out production, but still didn’t understand how to properly promote it. I spent 2020-2021 in a sort of creative limbo, working on tracks but not releasing anything. The lack of promotion left me unsure of how to move forward with my electronic music and how to incorporate my blues and guitar influences. I was trying to figure out how to make it all work—how to combine both sides of my musical identity.

When I dropped this track in 2022, I was still struggling to find my sound and get a grasp on promotion. I had started calling myself Aahnikoh by then, switching from the name The2tooth, as I felt more aligned with it for my main artist identity. Yet, even after this track, I still found myself unsure of how to promote it. I felt like I had everything in place production-wise, but marketing was the last piece of the puzzle. I wasn’t versed in platforms like Spotify and SoundCloud, and I struggled to understand how to get my music heard.

By 2022, I had started to get noticed a little bit by reaching out to labels and managers, who were seeing potential in my work. They told me I had skills but needed to get everything together, especially the promotion and marketing side. This feedback was encouraging, but I still faced a long gap ahead where I was figuring out how to properly share my music. I kept pushing forward, learning, and trying to figure out how to get my music into the right hands.

Looking back now, this track captures a pivotal moment for me—trying to push forward, despite the confusion and challenges of promotion. It was a learning period that spanned years, with 2023-2024 being more about outreach and finding the right connections. And now, in 2025, I’m finally starting to feel like I’m on the right track.
