Hey Latina - Limited Commercial
“Hey Latina” is a track that brings to life the vivid imagery of a Latino woman falling in love with a man. I envisioned it like a scene from a movie—two people dancing around in a cafe, feeling the chemistry as they fall for each other. The track captures the romance and energy of that moment, blending the upbeat rhythms with smooth, sensual vibes.
This is actually one of the first tracks where I started using saxophones in my compositions. Platforms like Splice made it so easy to incorporate different samples, since they provide details like BPM and scale, which helped me quickly fit everything together. I had so much fun experimenting with the sounds and layers. The track itself is so upbeat and fun—it makes me happy every time I hear it. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to shake and move, perfect for an early morning vibe.
By the time I made this fifth track, I think you can start to understand why I hesitated to promote my music back then. There was just so much going on in these songs—so many mixed influences and styles—that I wasn’t sure how to present them to the world. It felt like I was lost in the music-making process, fully immersed in the creative flow, but not knowing how to share it just yet. Still, it was a fun and exciting time where I got completely absorbed in crafting these tracks. I didn’t expect to end up with a song like this, but hey, I was on a musical adventure back then.
