“Deserted Love” marks my attempt at blending trap beats with some more experimental AI-driven sound. The first few AI-generated tracks I released didn’t quite hit the mark for jamming or dancing, but with this one, I really pushed to get the energy I was looking for. This track was all about learning how to incorporate new technology into my music and trying out new sounds.
I was really excited to experiment with new synths and samples, especially when I started using Arcade. The vocal loop you hear came from there, and it added a whole new dimension to the track that I hadn’t anticipated. The more I worked with this technology, the more I realized that producing with AI requires new instruments and a deeper understanding of how to integrate them into the workflow. It’s demanding in a way, but also incredibly rewarding when it clicks.
2024 marks a turning point for me, where I’m finally getting comfortable with adding plugins and experimenting with new sounds. Up until now, I’ve been focused on understanding the fundamentals of production—EQ, compression—and practicing it over and over. Now, with over a hundred songs behind me, I feel like my ears have opened up to subtle details that I couldn’t hear before. This track is a big part of my transition into using more advanced tools, and it’s the start of incorporating these new techniques into my production. I’m excited about what comes next, especially now that I’ve embraced AI as a songwriting partner.
This song is just one of many where I continue to experiment with AI and see how far I can push it to help me create music that feels both fresh and unique. So, while this track is a step into new territory, it’s just the beginning of a whole new era of creativity for me.
